October Newsletter Is Here

Members, check your mailbox!

The latest edition of ASIFA-SF’s world famous newsletter has been mailed to members, and as you all know, it’s chock-a-block with news, reviews, insights and opinions. Frankly, it may be the only publication of its kind in all the ASIFA chapters world wide: It is 8-12 pages printed and mailed 10 times a year, edited (and often largely written) by our tireless chapter president Karl Cohen.

This month’s issue includes an article on SIGGRAPH 2011, the latest revelations of animation being outsourced from the U.S., news of reports critical of children’s TV (hence this month’s cover illo by Ric, above), lots of shorter news items, obituaries (including memories of Don Albrecht as the last item in this issue), and announcements for our Animation Day Celebration – Ron Diamond’s 13th Annual Animation Show of Shows.

Intrigued? Wish you were a member and could read more?  Then why don’t you sign up today!
