Screenings and Master Class this week only!
There are no summer doldrums as far as animation screenings are concerned. The one-and-only Bill Plympton will visit the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco for a screening of his animation and a live drawing demonstration on Tuesday, July 26. Each attendee will receive a free signed drawing courtesy of Mr. Plympton (!). Plympton will present his feature-in-progress Cheatin’ and a brand new video created for “Weird Al” Yankovic, as well as other surprises. The Balboa Theatre will also be presenting the premiere of Idiots and Angels July 25-27. Bill is one of the most prolific animators around, completely idiosyncratic and funny, too! He’s an inspiration to indie animators everywhere—mark your calendars and be there!
